This summer, our dev team in Shanghai developed an innovative augmented reality experience showcasing some of the most important moments in China's political history. Debuting at the Memorial Hall museum in Shanghai, this AR project marries new tech with key artifacts from China's past, creating an immersive experience that presents these objects and documents in an entirely new way.
By donning the Microsoft Hololens, visitors were invited to step into augmented exhibits within the museum. The experience offers a unique way to interact with and learn about each object presented, as well as a virtual guide to provide insights on the item's history and milestones. Our goal was to share China’s history in a vivid and striking way, bridging the past with the future.
While many of you know us as a games developer, we love opportunities to bring VR and AR to real world applications as well! This was a fantastic chance to do just that, as was our recent collaboration with Science World for our #Canada150 Canoe VR experience. If you missed it, you can read all about that awesome project here!
